Born and raised in SWVA, Kerra is proud of her Appalachian heritage & the amazing community of people within the beautiful mountains she calls home. As the daughter of successful small business owners she understands the importance of taking care of neighbors, family and friends and how their referrals and word of mouth makes such an impact within the small towns and communities she loves.
She graduated the top 10% of her Richlands High School graduation class of 2011 with a degree in marketing, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Emory & Henry College which also includes extensive studies in business, economics and marketing. Kerra has been working in marketing for over 15 years, and has played a critical role on the marketing and development team at DePaul Community Resources since May of 2023, where she raises awareness for the services the organization offers and the need for foster families both within and outside her region.
Outside of real estate and foster care recruitment, you will find her thanking Veterans for their service to our country, volunteering and giving back to the communities of SWVA, spending time with her husband Jack, their 5 rescued furbabies, family and friends. She enjoys floating at South Holston Lake, unplugging on her family’s farm, spending time at her beloved Outer Banks, cheering on her Tennessee Volunteers, supporting local small businesses, making memories through travel or being an advocate for Lyme Disease, which she has fought since 2016, & also the significance of animal rescue.
Kerra is so honored to be able to assist those in southwest Virginia in what is simply one of the biggest purchases of their lifetime, within the region that’s so near and dear to her heart.
